Notes on Visit:

The most famous one of this seemingly random bunch of
communications towers. As well as the main pod, a trip
further up the tower to the SkyPod was well worth the
visit, to really get a perspective on the sheer height
of it. It held the record of both the world's tallest
free-standing structure and the world's tallest tower
for 34 years until the completion of Burj Khalifa in
Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Canton Tower in
Guangzhou, China in 2010. Visit was on a clearish day
and the view was breathtaking. The superlative facts
about it are too many to write about and beyond the
scope of this summary. Put, in short... It's a big one.
