Built on the site which hosted the 1972 Olympics, the
tower offers extensive views over the city from its
suburban location. It dominates the Olympic Park,
towering over the Bayern Munich football stadium. Also,
from the observation deck, there is an excellent view of
the adjacent humongous BMW plant. I was fortunate enough
to once visit on a clear day where, looking southwards,
on the horizon was visible the foothills of the Alps.
Easy access by road or the S-Bahn/U-Bahn trains.
