Crown Score

Part road and part straight stepped path, this score was known as Lion Score after a Lion Inn which stood at the top on the High Street. The current name is after the Crown Hotel in the High Street opposite the score's top end.

Crown Score's older parts are flanked by brick and pebble walls as detailed in the last photo below. Modern businesses found lower down include a second hand car sales lot and a private children’s day care facility.
