This steel truss tower is (as of 2015) listed as the
34th tallest tower in the world. It is slightly taller,
but similar in design to the TV tower in Tbilisi (see
previous page). Visit only involved seeing it from a
distance. It replaced an old tower which was moved to
(and still functions in) Armenia's second largest city,
Gyumri. The panoramic stitch photo of Yerevan at the
bottom of the page shows the tower to the left and gives
a general idea as to the sort of view one might expect
from it.
