The Preston England Temple is located in the town of Chorley, 10 miles (16 km) south of Preston, in Lancashire, England. This website is not affiliated to any religion and the photos here were taken purely out of interest in the architectural style being atypical for this part of the world. The temple itself has a modern, single spire design and an exterior finish of Olympia white granite from Sardinia. The white granite exterior and zinc roof have caused it to be described as reminiscent of England’s old churches, although that is a matter of debate. The angel Moroni statue atop the spire is apparently known to some as "one of the landmarks of the M61". Photos follow:
